Anvendelse:

(4-carboxybutyl)triphenylphosphinbromid er meget udbredt i organisk syntese. Det kan bruges som et reagens til organiske metalkemiske reaktioner, kationiske elektrohydrauliske oxidationsreaktioner i organisk syntese og fastfase organisk syntese. Det kan også bruges i forskellige applikationer såsom fluorescerende farvestoffer, kemiske sensorer, syntese af koordinationsforbindelser og katalysatorer. Anvendes hovedsageligt som mellemprodukt til råstoffet bimatoprost.
